he International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) Concept is a global computer literacy initiative developed to raise the level of knowledge about Information Technology (IT) and increase the level of competence in using personal computers and common computer applications for all the citizens of the world.

 
 
ICDL Certification Program

ICDL is an internationally-recognized standard of competence for computer users. It is a certificate awarded to a person who has passed one theoretical Test on the Basic Concepts of Information Technology (IT) and six practice-based Tests using a personal computer and common computer applications.

 
  The Seven Test Modules are:
  1. Basic Concepts of Information Technology (IT)
  2. Using the Computer and Managing Files
  3. Word Processing
  4. Spreadsheets
  5. Database
  6. Presentation
  7. Information and Communication
